That's a wiki page.. our motivation last year came from an actual OU player.I wouldn't be so sure. Your version of Austin Kendall may have been behind OU's fuel for motivation this year.
In 1985 during the Iowa game (they entered the Shoe as#1) during a crucial play in the 4th quarter it got so loud that Chuck Long begged the ref for relief twice to no avail. The result? Chris Speilman stopped Ronnie Harmon on 4th and one and the resultant noise vibrations caused a press box table to collapse.....Wait until they get a load of the Horseshoe on Saturday.
But where was that "motivation" during the first 2.5 quarters vs. IU??? Your players heard "31-0" all offseason, did they not? That's a wiki page.. our motivation last year came from an actual OU player.
If you want to talk about motivation you can thank Clemson for spelling out 31-0 With their band. You're going to get a very angry buckeye team in front of their fans at night
But last Saturday it was taken to a new level. Clemson band spelled out 31 to 0 in their half time show.....But where was that "motivation" during the first 2.5 quarters vs. IU??? Your players heard "31-0" all offseason, did they not?

I like the Buckeyes chances against the Sooner secondary and I like our young freshman for more than 100 on the ground.
Well the Sooners have a number of motivating factors playing in for them too:
-Baker Mayfield pushing hard to clean up his reputation after being arrested in Fayetteville.
-OU players will push hard to get a win for their former coach Bob on his 57th birthday.
-No doubt they’ll be motivated for Joe Mixon who still gets crap for a stupid mistake he made three years ago after his 18th birthday.
-They’ll be looking for redemption after what happened last year vs. the Buckeyes in Norman. They have more to prove this time around, even with the game being in front of a rowdy crowd at the Horseshoe.
-Lee Corso made a critical error by saying the Sooners were “pretenders” on ESPN last week. Baker Mayfield still has those words retweeted on his Twitter account.
Very well put! Thanks.Oh, FFS. Really, RCSooner1974? Here's what I read in your post.
They're really gonna get up for this game now. Yessiree. Somebody posted some crap on the internet and that was it. There's no turning back now! They're a gonna go down there and kick some Buckeye arse. They were a gonna go down there and bend over backward real purty, turn the other cheek you know, like the lord Barry intended...but not any more...
