Game Thread Ohio State vs Michigan State, 11/11/17 @ 12:00 ET (FOX)

I expect the opposite out of Iowa. I think there will be a major letdown after last week. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Wisconsin shut Iowa out.

I’m curious as to why this is your expectation from a team who has looked pretty awful all year against bad competition, compared to the Hawkeyes who beat a squad that has knocked off 2 top ten teams in Oklahoma and TCU, then took a top ten Penn State to the last second of the game and destroyed the #6 ranked Buckeyes.

I suppose this is why I don’t understand the talks of Ohio State losing to them as if they’re a bad ball club. They aren’t. They’ve struggled this year and underperformed, to be sure, but Iowa can play some damn good football when they want to.

Now, being utterly embarrassed by them is a different story. I can’t really explain that except to say Iowa can hang with the big boys and they put on a clinic that day.

Mainly because Iowa's offense has looked terrible against almost every decent defense they've come up against and I don't expect that to change against Wisconsin. The game being at Wisconsin plus the hangover factor is why I think Wisky bludgeons them.

They could surprise me though like last weekend *shrugs*

How is that the BEST CASE scenario?! You're talking about a team is incredibly talented, yet very unpredictable...

If you're talking in abstract terms, the best case scenario is 100-0.

28-24 is YOUR guess at the final score.

Yes, you're absolutely right. It IS my guess at the final score. Incidentally, my guess at the final score vs. Iowa was 42-10, Buckeyes. I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong on that one, and as for my predictions for Sparty, no one wants to be wrong more than me. :urban2:

:oh:

I don't know about you guys but I'm getting fucking pumped for this game. Worried as [Mark May] about pass coverage though and please for the love of god just let the RBs do their job. 0 expectations for this game yet pumped as a bitch. Yes day drinking on a thurs. Trying to booze out a cold with hot totties

It’s all I can think about. I’ve soaked up everything I possibly can before Saturday. Sick of all the talking, I’m ready for the showdown. Winner of this game is going to Indy for the Big Ten Championship.

My stomach has been in knots.

Let’s get it started already.

OHIO STATE IS A “PISSED OFF, HUNGRY TEAM RIGHT NOW” HEADING INTO MATCHUP AGAINST MICHIGAN STATE

Parris Campbell wasn't in Iowa City with his teammates on Nov. 4, as he was forced to watch Ohio State from his apartment while the Buckeyes were thrashed, 55-24, by the Hawkeyes, effectively ending Ohio State's playoff hopes.

Campbell has missed the majority of Ohio State's last three games. Injuries against both Nebraska and Penn State in the first quarter held him out for the remainder of those contests and kept him home for the Iowa loss.

Even though he hasn't been on the field much in the last month, Campbell is still motivated to get the Buckeyes back to their winning ways, and said Wednesday evening that Ohio State has had an edge to it in practice this week.

"We are just a pissed off, hungry team right now. Coming off that loss, it was a shocking feeling for everybody," Campbell said. "I think the mentality now is win out (but) just worry about this week."

Needless to say a "pissed off and hungary team" is a good thng. Too bad they were not "pissed off and hungary" last week.

Good luck. A suggestion......add some Sechuan Chinese food to the regimen. I think you'll find that it helps.

I'm about where I was to start the 2008 season.

Not buying the hype and don't care to hear them talk.

You just got boat raced by fucking Iowa.

Shut the fuck up until the season is over and you have at least won The Game.
