Game Thread Ohio State vs Michigan State, 11/11/17 @ 12:00 ET (FOX)

These are kids. They surely were all-in for Penn State and it is sad what happened last week. They surely know now that they are not entitled.

Here is what I know: I don't want to have one more player in contention for a Heisman in my lifetime. I blame all that talk from the previous week on exactly that. JT has had more than his share of bad luck in his time at Ohio State. His game against Penn State was a performance for the ages, but not without a lot of luck as well. Trying to replicate that was doomed to failure.

Let's see if he returns to form this week because how he goes the team will go.

I don't understand any kid taking a team lightly or being hungover.. dammit every time I played it was like I was playing the 85' bears every time. Every team was a threat to me and I wasn't satisfied until they were dead and buried.

I just don't understand why it takes a loss to get them to "mean business" or to "take them for granted" and finally to "get them fired up". I hated every team I ever played against in any freaking sport. Seriously, every sport and every game I genuinely disliked them until it was over and provided we won I would then chat with them after the game.

I'm of the "leave no doubt" people. I have no doubt if I was a pee wee coach i'd be in news for beating a team 90 to 0.

I think that's why we sputtered eventually against Iowa. We came out throwing just like we did against Pedo but that's not who we are. Sure we had success with it in that game but it was just someone with a hot hand and it got us away from what we actually are which is a run first offense.

In Detroit for business this week. Sitting at some damn Chili’s Too at the airport because they don’t have a frick’n Admiral’s Club. It sucks ass because a) I have to pay for drinks and b) the seating sucks and c) Admiral’s Club is the only way to travel.

The only solace I can take is that some fuck in Sparty shit has been eyeing me as I nuuuuuuuuurse my drink at a window table while he stands outside waiting for a seat. If my S&G wasn’t checked through I’d put it on and wave.

My Uber driver was a tsun grad btw. She also will be rooting for Thug-U this weekend. For what it’s worth, she was probably a tsun cheerleader. Oooooof. They are liberal with the ugly stick here.

Good omens for this weekend.

I'm about where I was to start the 2008 season.

Not buying the hype and don't care to hear them talk.

You just got boat raced by fucking Iowa.

Shut the fuck up until the season is over and you have at least won The Game.
Co-signed. Just go out and ball.

MSU being a 15-point underdog is laughable. OSUs victories against Sparty since Meyer have been here have been by a combined 14 points. I'd be shocked if we won by anything more than a TD.

They didn't want it nearly as much as Iowa that's for sure...

Run the ball. Win the game.

My sincere hope for this weekend is that they figure out how to run the ball using something not read-option. We've lived by that sword for a long time and now we're dying by it. Have to step up the chess game for sure. I'm frankly looking forward to seeing Dave wave up to the Walrus in the booth this weekend.
