After watching part of a BTN rebroadcast of their game vs Illinois, the Buckeye DTs are going to abuse their guards. It is a mismatch of Fredoian proportions. Their center is not going to make Nebraska fans forget Dave Rimington, but he is nowhere near the fish out of water that the guards are. The tackles didn’t seem to have that much trouble with the Illini, but it looked to me like the Illini edge defenders were MAC quality at best. They’re taking a huge step up in competition.

Even so, expect all of the Buckeye interior linemen to have a huge day. It could be a very long day for Martinez, unless it’s a very short one.

I saw similar things when I went back to watch it today. This kid is a stud, but I expect nothing short of chaos in the backfield on Saturday night. They’re going to have to get the ball out quick, which I believe will be the plan. Won’t be shocked if the TO margin reaches 4+.

He even throwns like the other Martinez kid they use to have. Similar team IMO to what they showed up to the 2013 game with.

Frost today mentioned that Robinson had to take carries because the backs were a little banged up. Something to keep an eye on for sure.

Huskers holding onto the fact that Ohio State always lays a egg in big away games don't realize:

1. Defensive staff is completely revamped
2. Our DBs have made huge improvements
3. Our defense have given up way fewer big plays
4. The silver bullets are back!

Was out to dinner during this game. Every time I looked up at the TV I swear Spielman was on his knees looking for his teeth. Martinez had to have been throwing a bunch of buddy passes that night.

Tough as nails, but if he’s not still in the ice tub, I’d be surprised.
