I'm thinking Mikael Torpegaard might not have been 100% in either match this weekend.

Well, as a person who carefully tracks the performance of every program at Ohio State (for 13-15 years), I'm happy with the consistency of the Men's Tennis program.

It (Men's Tennis) is second to Rowing for sports with over 80 participating schools (past 13-15 years).

I'm very happy with the leadership of Ty Tucker. Tough past two days (5/21-22), but good season -- Championship Season -- overall for both Men's and Women's Tennis. Here's to a great 2016-17 season.

Anyway 2015/2016 was an improvement over last season in their record, B1G Championships, and advanced one more round in the NCAAs. With who they have coming back and the new incoming class; I anticipate even more improvement for next year.

UVA vs Oklahoma for the Men's title today

UVA is 20-3 so far in the tourney, steam rolling everyone except Ok State. Heckuva program down there.

After the team team title is decided, tomorrow begins the individual tournament. Torp is #1seed in the singles championship and Hugo Di Feo also earned an invite in the 64 elite players.
In doubles Torp and Herko Pollanen also earned an invite into the 32 team tournament.

Torp seeded no. 1 has advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles competition.
Will face Chrysochos of wake forest Saturday at 1 pm.

Will face TCU Norrie at 3 pm tomorrow.

Virginia Tech senior Joao Monteiro’s run in the NCAA tournament ended with a three-set loss to UCLA’s Mackenzie McDonald in the semifinals.

McDonald, the No. 6 seed, won 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to advance to Monday’s final against Ohio State’s Mikael Torpegaard.

I was feeling good when Torp broke to open the match. Just didn't seem like it was his day.

Wins over #4 seed yesterday and strong opponent today.
Also will team in dubs with pollanen for a run later.
Buckeye commits Wolf and McNally for 2017 are into the 16 round in dubs as well.

Torp continues to impress in the ATP pro level tourney, advances to Sunday's final with a 7-5, 7-6 win. Will face top 100 pro Ben Becker Sunday at 2 pm.
Torp and Herko pollanen will team in dubs and play semis tonight.
