Playing his 10th match in 6 days, Buckeye Freshman Chris Diaz faltered at the end, dropping a 1-6, 7-5, 2-6 decision to the NCAA's top rated player and #1 seed in the ITA, Henrique Cuhna of Duke.
The tournament must make Coach Tucker smile in anticipation of another weapon in the arsenal and greater depth in the Buckeye lineup.
What a great surprise and strong tournament for this young Buckeye.

Buckeye Senior Connor Smith was added to the consolation draw as a lucky loser, replacement for w/d competitor.
He posted a 3 set victory vs. Illinois' Farris and will advance in the back draw.
Smith and Peter Kobelt will get their first taste of double's action tonight against the home team's Jackson and Ivie.
