I assume we hope to fall to 6 or 7 now? Esp 6 if UVA holds to number 2; I have a feeling our guys want a rematch w UGA

Six or seven would be fine, (put us in the bracket opposite USC and UCLA) however the overall body of work and computer points will bump UVa to #3 and drop OSU to either #4 or #5, with UCLA rising.
ITA rankings will be released April 30th, but the OSU official site indicates the seeding and early round playoff sites will be announced Tuesday.

Recap of the dificult loss to Illinois in the B1G championship match from the Official site.

The top-seeded Ohio State men?s tennis team (31-3, 11-0 B1G) fell to No. 3 seed Illinois (17-7, 8-3) 4-3 in the final of the 2012 Big Ten Tennis Tournament Sunday at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center in Evanston, Ill.
The third-ranked Buckeyes had won the previous six conference tournaments, with Illinois and Ohio State meeting in six of the last seven. Ohio State is now 5-1 in those contests.
After Illinois came back from a 3-1 deficit to even the match at 3-3, all eyes turned to the No. 2 singles match between Blaz Rola and Roy Kalmanovich with the Big Ten Tournament title on the line. Kalmanovich won the first set 6-4 before Rola returned the favor with a 6-3 win of his own in the second set. Kalmanovich took a 3-1 lead in the third set before Rola broke back to even it at 3-3. However, Kalmanovich broke again Rola and rode the momentum to a 6-3 third-set victory.
Ohio State will find out its overall seed and where it will play the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA Tournament (May 10-13)Tuesday during the 2012 NCAA Men?s Tennis Selection Show, which will air online at 5:30 p.m. . . .

Wasn't our last B1G loss also to them in a tournament final (2006 or so)?

yes,
yesterday's finals loss snapped a big 10 win streak of 92 straight for tOSU,
dating back to BIG 10 tournament in April of '05, where they lost to the illini.

Time to begin a new win streak!
