Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

The bad news is that if we get to NCAA semifinals and it is #2 Georgia vs. #3 Ohio State; and we are playing the home team.

FWIW, recap of prior match: http://www.georgiadogs.com/sports/m-tennis/recaps/032112aaa.html

:osu:

I believe that if the Buckeyes get that rematch with UGa in the semis, the Buckeyes will prevail this time.

Two reasons:

1. Buckeyes played outdoors for only the 2nd time of the season vs. UGA in March.

2. Chase Buchanan will not lose to Ku Singh the next time.

Hey BN24 do you have any eligiblity left, you don't have to play against them, you might be able to play for them. :)
Just call Coach Tucker because Buckeyes are graduating 2 seniors and to date no word on who is coming in to replace Seniors Chase Buchanan and Steven Williams. :wink2:

Buckeyes are preparing for the Big Ten tournament, seeking their 7th straight title.
The OSU official tennis site has a video with Blaz Rola and Ty Tucker recapping the recent regular season championship and previewing the trip to Chicago for the tournament.

http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/m-tennis/spec-rel/042512aaa.html

Have to love Tucker's comments for inspiration:
"All the other teams and all the other coaches know what the streak is, and everybody is going to come in here and give us their best shot.
They want to knock the Buckeyes off and our job is to defend and get better while we do it."

The reigning seven-time Big Ten regular-season champion and No. 3 Ohio State men's tennis team (29-2, 11-0 Big Ten) will attempt to earn its seventh-consecutive Big Ten tournament championship as it begins postseason play Friday in Evanston, Ill., at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center.
