Ohio State Men's Tennis (2014/2019/2024 ITA Indoor National Champs, 17 Straight B1G Titles)

Appears inevitable to have a Florida vs. tOSU matchup in the round of 16, if they take care of business.
It also seemed like Gators were much stronger than a #12 seed!

Ohio State has a really tough division Fla in the round of 16. and a very improved #4 seed UCLA in the quarterfinal bracket
If Bucks are able to advance the all world #1 USC looms in the semi bracket.

Again the close losses at UGa and in B1G final hurt the Buckeye opportunites to claim a #2 or 3 seed.

Virginia and Georgia have to be loving the seeding and the way the bracket lines up for an easy run into the semifinals.

The ITA also released their regular season final double's rankings on May 8. Four Buckeye teams made the top 90.

Link

#1 Chase Buchanan & Blaz Rola
#32 Devin McCarthy & Ilie VanEngelen
#51 Chase Buchanan & Peter Kobelt
#77 Blaz Rola & Connor Smith

Buchanan and Rola are the clear top computer point generators in the NCAA. They will receive the number 1 seed in the NCAA double's draw.
The top 32 ranked players normally receive invitations to the NCAA double's tournament, however there were 4 automatic qualifiers from smaller conferences that bumped the McCarthy - Van Engelen duo down to #4 on the alternate list. :(

Gracel,
great job with all of this. It's nice to have a pro leading us through this maze.....for the 'netsters' this is the greatest of times teamwise that I believe has ever existed.

The talent is obvious, and Ty seems to keep them coming in (at least him keep remembering the way to New Albany for recruiting). Here's hoping that they repeat last year, and then whup up on Univ of Spoiled Children, while throttling Va, Ga and those other warm weather schools, oh yeah, let's hope the Illini make a wave or two, and the Bucks can exact their revenge on them as well.......I'm in a payback kinda mood today, so I'd better stay off the road.....

:gobucks3::gobucks4::banger: Let's hope "Mr Tape" works for tOSU and the balls go over, instead of back and down...
