Logan Terness was great last night, the only puck that got past him bounced off a defenseman’s toe at the edge of the crease.
Not sure if he’ll get the start, they don’t have to consider this Senior Night since they’ve clinched a home game in the B1G tourney,

2 points all weekend. This team had best unfuck themselves in the B1G tournament or they might not even make the NCAA. In the span of two weekends they went from being on the bubble for a 1 seed to a 3 or 4 at best.

| The No. 9 men's hockey team closed out the regular season last week with a rivalry series matchup against No. 11 Michigan in which the Buckeyes took game one in thrilling overtime fashion by a score of 2-1. Davis Burnside opened the scoring for the Buckeyes with a power play goal in the second period and William Smith sealed the victory with the game-winning goal just 1:22 into overtime. Ohio State's defense had a strong showing registering 11 blocked shots, a crucial 5x3 penalty kill and 26 saves by Logan Terness. This weekend, the No. 3 seed Buckeyes will host the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers in the Big Ten Men's Hockey Tournament quarterfinals at Nationwide Arena. The best-of-three series will get underway Friday night with all three puck drop times scheduled for 7 p.m. |

Pathetic. In three weeks, went from being on the cusp of a 1 seed to being on the bubble to not make the tournament.

Pedsters tomorrow night at home. We're 10th in the pairwise, and the pedsters are 12th. So we're pretty much a lock for the tournament and are just playing to determine a 3 or 4 seed. If we win, we'll almost certainly go to East Lansing for the championship, and a win there would probably be enough (depending on what else happens) to bump us into a 2 seed. After the collapse the last two weekends of the regular season, a 1 is completely impossible at this point.
