USCHO site is all fucked up right now, and everything takes you to a page on women's goalies, so I don't know exactly how things changed last night. However, beating the 12 while being 10 should bump us up to a very safe 3 seed. Losing to Sparty on the road won't change that, but beating them should secure us a 2 seed.

We moved up one to 9th which wasn't as big a jump as I was hoping for, so we'll need a win and probably some help elsewhere to get a 2 seed. No way in hell though that a loss at #2 Sparty drops us to a 4.
cunt is at 14, so there's a good chance that a couple of crappy conference champions and maybe throw in an upset by a lower seed in a good conference will knock them out of the tournament. Pedsters should be safe at 13.

I see no way that we can backdoor our way into a 2 seed while losing to Sparty.
Right now, it's
5 W Michigan
6 BU
7 UCONN
8 Providence
9 Ohio State
9 Denver
WMU and Denver play each other in their championship game as do BU and UCONN. Providence is done. The win at #2 Sparty should be enough to let us jump Providence and the BU/UCONN loser. As for WMU/Denver, I'd root for WMU and get Denver completely out of our way. At the end of the day, I still think we control our own destiny in East Lansing.
