B1G is out of the Frozen Four. Not surprising as only Minny was considered a strong candidate, and they crapped out in their first round game. Ohio State and the pedsters over performed though. Over all, it was a good breakthrough season for the B1G. Michigan should be back next year. Sparty got rid of their dumpster fire of a coach and should be back in a couple. Minny and Wiscy will always be nationally relevant. The pedsters too I'm sad to say. Notre Dame joins the conference next year, and there's rumors that we'll invite North Dakota in as an affiliate to salve the Gophers' butthurt over breaking up their old rivalries.
As for Ohio State, we certainly sniffed the butt of national relevance this year. The question is do we take the next step and mount it in the coming years or do we follow the program's historical path of slipping back into mediocrity or worse. If the rumors of a 6K hockey only facility are true, that would be a huge step towards answering that question.
