OHIO STATE GOLFER WILL GRIMMER SITS AT +5 AFTER TWO ROUNDS, LIKELY MAKING U.S. OPEN CUT

Ohio State junior golfer took another step closer to his goal of making the cut at the United States Open on Friday when he shot a 72 at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.

The round put Grimmer at +5 through two rounds. Though the cut won't be made official until Friday night, Grimmer should be safe as the cut currently projects to +9.
