An inexperienced team at home probably is not going to become more disciplined in their first game on the road, especially when it's Oklahoma. I don't share your optimism that this will be much cleaner in terms of execution.

This team is what it is. Crazy talented. And young.
Then they executed to the maximum the first game in front of 107k. As I said I think OSU comes up short this game due to how much OU has riding on this game. In saying that if we come out and don't make too many errors i know we can beat this team from OU with just a ordinary performance.

If we win this game I won't doubt our boys ever again this year. I just don't like how much motivation OU has for this one.

Motivation or desperation (to save the season)? Sometimes they can look alike but have two very different outcomes.

I'm sure they had plenty of motivation against Clemson last year too.....

Haha you win sir... I'm now cured.

Fucking winning this one haha

haha. My Point being "Big Game" Bob has shown consistency in his teams not having such great showings in big games in recent years. I'll take Urban in this one any day of the week, especially with the way OU looked against Houston.

Exactly... I suppose I never thought of it the way SERE said. It is desperation and this may cause Oklahoma to play tight and not for the throat.

Meanwhile here we are young, unproven, and hungry to prove a point. Im having a hard time reading this game to be honest more so then any game osu has played. However I maintain, limit untimely errors (dropping passes on third down or committing penalties/turnover when driving) and stopping their rush attack is where it's at for me.

I know Urban said Mayfield is a big concern for the defense but what's more likely for OU? Rushing for 300 or passing 300? I'd say rushing to be honest. That's where their talent is at and I hope we remember that instead of putting so much stock in Mayfield.

I'm not sure about OU's ability to protect Mayfield.....Houston sacked him 5 times, so I don't see why the boys up front shouldnt be able to put some heat on him. They are going to have to run the ball well to win, if they can't get much going on the ground, it could get ugly for the OU offense.

My point exactly... shut down their run game and they're harmless.

They don't have enough out wide to compensate for a lack of run game.
