Ohio State 63 Michigan State 54 (Final)

Great win today! Was fun to be a part of from the stands. Izzo might have beef with the refs, but Matta did too. Some of those no calls were rediculous.

The motivation continued from the Purdue win and we got another big one. Looking forward to the rematch on a neutral court. I hope we can go in there with a new gameplan though, because MSU had our number on the boards, at the line, and behind the arc. It helped Neitzel had a bad game, but Morgan had an outstanding midrange jumpshot we just couldn't stop. We've got to find an answer for him.

I'm drinking a cold one on behalf of these seniors tonight. Great stuff.

I think Izzos biggest fall was having 3 players that could be point guards on the floor at once. Thus making "the extra pass"- when they were already tight on the shot clock.

That would be my reasoning for the shot clock violations. Not discrediting, but I have never seen that many before!

You guys have all hit on the main points today...

this is what we had all hoped for, great job seniors, great play by Lighty etc...

Nothing else to add really, besides one thing...Thank you Schott for moving the students down from up top to fill the bottom sections...

This game puts Ohio State back on the bubble, possibly in. Winning against Michigan State again in the first round may secure Ohio State a spot in the tourney.. Anything more than two wins in the Big Ten Tourney locks them in and improves their seeding.

Maybe the first smile I've ever seen from him, cool!

and I saw someone mention the students got moved... how did they manage that?? what happened to the personal seat licenses?

And I was wondering, it seems that the shot clocks only have a problem when the Schott gets booming!

I don't know what reason I find the irony in that for!

Great game!
Go Bucks!

The gray uniforms are nice but I miss the white ones.

We play better in the gray ones...

As for the comment about the students...What happened was due to weather they obviously weren't going to fill the students sections on both ends of the court, so they brought students down from the upper deck and filled both sections...
