Yup...I only remember winning one big ten home game in the white ones I think...We also busted played one of our best games of the season against UF in the gray ones as well...

How many times have we played in the white ones this year? We seemed to do alright in them last year.

We played well in everything last year...

:sob:

Everytime I think about last year- I remember the Tenn. tournament game- the @ scUM game - and the Georgetown game specifically. Damn.. What a great year that was. These are the times I want Greg and Mike back.

Ah well.. If we can play the same way we did for the last 8 minutes of this game- we can do more than last years crew.

Last year was great, and those are the games that will always be remembered, but this years team is trying to come together and make memories...

We all thought this would come earlier int he season, but it obviously didn't, but it is great that it game before the end of the season...Hopefully it wasn't too little too late...But we will have lots of talent for next year, and the end of the season is going to propel into that...Just sad for Butler, Twig, and Hunter we couldn't break out a little sooner...

Izzo: OSU 'deserves to be in' after 63-54 win

Michigan State coach impressed with Buckeyes, who have won last two over ranked opponents.

By Rusty Miller

COLUMBUS ? Michigan State coach Tom Izzo says that's not a bubble Ohio State is sitting on ? it's a rock.
Senior Jamar Butler said goodbye to the home crowd with 20 points and Ohio State beat No. 17 Michigan State 63-54 Sunday, March 9, closing out the game with a 15-2 run to enhance its prospects of landing an NCAA tournament berth.

"Do I think Ohio State is deserving of being in the tournament? Hands down," a disappointed Izzo said. "The problem is our league gets so maligned by people ? and for what reason I don't know. But, yeah, I think Ohio State deserves to be in."
Othello Hunter added 13 points, including a pivotal one-handed jam of a rebound in the closing minutes, David Lighty scored 12 and Kosta Koufos 11 for the Buckeyes (19-12, 10-8 Big Ten).
"They've done what they had to do," said coach Thad Matta of his players. "You knock off two top teams, these guys are playing very good basketball right now."

Buckeyes clock Spartans
Ohio State closes game on 15-2 run

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

When the shot clocks above each basket in Value City Arena malfunctioned and delayed play 20 minutes Tuesday night, no one thought it was anything but a random short circuit. After they died again yesterday, the Ohio State men's basketball team might want to think of adding the gremlin to its travel squad for the Big Ten tournament.
"We're going to attempt to do that," coach Thad Matta said.
When the line between winning and losing is as fine as it has been for the Buckeyes this season, no power source can be left untapped. For the second time in five days yesterday, Ohio State surged after the outage and zapped a ranked opponent.
Tuesday it was No. 15 Purdue in overtime. Yesterday it was No. 17 Michigan State, which lost 63-54 after the Buckeyes closed the game with a 15-2 run in the last 5:23.
Where was this team all season? The one that found a way to get over the hump against good teams the past two games after consistently coming up short the first four months of the season?
