Team loss, but Pryor will take this one to heart and learn. The future is still very bright. Proud to be a Buckeye not matter what the outcome. We held their offense to 13 points.

I agree with all of that....I expect that he will work harder than ever and if the coaches take the reigns off look out....

Well, I don't mean to be overly negative, but at the same time a degree of honesty is necessary upon losing a game like this in the 'Shoe. This may well be the most disappointing team since 1995 or so. I know we're starting a freshman QB (which, in and of itself is the result of disappointment), but there is no excuse for losing to USC by 33 points or PSU at home. I find it hard to believe, particularly in light of last year's ass whipping we put on nearly the same PSU team, that we should have dropped this game. The OL has underperformed this season. The DL has underperformed this season. The backfield has underperformed this season. Special teams have been a disaster this season. The QB situation is what it is. The WRs have underperformed this season. The LBs have, at the very least, not improved. I hope the Frosh remember tonight.

I don't think too many honest tOSU fans will disagree with the statement that "this years team has definitely underachieved." Got to feel bad for lil animal, Jenkins, Beanie and the Seniors.

A big stage meltdown is 35-3, 41-14, 38-24 giving up 31 unanswered points. No one has held this PSU team to under 30 points this season. This is not a big stage meltdown. tOSU was in position to win this game and the ball bounced PSU's way. This was a hard fought game between both teams.

I think the defintion of a melt down is being up 6-3 with the ball at mid field and about to get the firstdown, and a mistake that leads to 10 unanswered points. Well fought game but a melt down.

Were we watching the same game? The Bucks threw on 1st and 2nd down quite a bit tonight...obviously more in the 2nd half but it was a step forward. We had our moments moving the ball but we couldn't convert in PSU territory. The O-Line looked absolutely horrendous. If you tell me that Beanie runs for like 25 carries and has 60'ish yards and the game is coming down to the last play...i'd tell you you're nuts.

Pryor did not lose this game for us. He made some great plays, but unfortunately he made one really bad one(that he had to bounce out due to the Oline getting mauled).

I think some of you underestimated PSU's abilities going into this game. They're tough. There is a reason they were ranked 3rd. I obviously expected a win as I do every saturday but lets be realistic here, we can't win them all. At least someone else in the conference has a friggin pulse and we aren't just steamrolling the entire Big10 and then getting worked in the NC game due to being untested such was the case the last couple of years.

Keep your heads up, the sun will come out tomorrow(well maybe not this is Ohio but you get the point). It was a hard fought game..and I know that none of us here can honestly say the Bucks didn't play hard. Props to the defense for a great game. Thad tore it up, the linebackers played well, the DT's played well up until baout the 4th quarter I think they started wearing down. Now lets half heartedly root for PSU to get in the NC and win it.

Hats off to Penn State. Tried our best to do the Mario Manningham impression but this year is just PSU's year.

The thing about Pryor that people need to realize is that he kept us in this game. Beanie was getting no space to run out there at all, and Pryor's ability to roll the pocket gave him sufficient time to find open WRs. Make no mistake about it, he is the best option for this team.

Looking forward to Boren and Shugarts next season.

This may well be the most disappointing team since 1995 or so, given the pre-season expectations. Fine, I agree with the dissapointment, but to say this is nearly the same PSU team is bullshit straight and simple.

THis is a very very good PSU team and I'm not sure why some don't realize that. I don't know why you think there is no excuse for losing to such a good team at home. Just because OSU had a good streak going doesn't mean shit.

I wish the camera would have stayed off T.P. in the end when he was on the bench alone!
The kid is not alone here on this loss! A freshman quarterback his first true error in judgement which was critical,I'll agree but it was a tooth & nail game & he will learn from this if the media does not peck too hard at the kids confidence.
The thing is we all learn from our mistakes & I know he will. The poor kid is wearing his heart on his sleeve!
I cannot even imagine what he is thinking right now! Just think if you were him "how would you feel"?

I'm sure TP will take this one hard. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. He'll use this one to fuel his fire and do nothing but get better every day.

Defense played great til the last drive. I'd have to guess that by then they were just flat out gassed. Not trying to make excuses for the D, but holding that team to 13 was amazing.

Our offense wasn't terrible. We played a great defense, our line had some trouble, but it's not like TP looked terrible. I wish we could've got Beanie going, and oh, how I wish TP would've just dove forward and picked up the first before he fumbled in the 4th, but that's football. It hinged on that one play. It didn't go our way tonight. They all went our way last week.

We'll live to fight another day. A two loss season with a frosh QB is nothing to complain about. And at least we won't have to play USC again in a bowl right? :)

Head up Terrelle! Go Bucks!

Agree to disagree on meltdown, because I guess you would define those other games as nuclear. tOSU was in position to win this game, but even when the fumble happened there was 9+ minutes left, to say that this game was wrapped up then is absurd.
