I've got to say that putting the true freshman in situations like this and having this happen should not be a surprise. I hope this doesn't hurt his confidence.

God damn I feel terrible for TP. Someone go and pick that kid up and remind him that "Everyday that you wake up and your a buckeye you just have to smile!" Everyone remember to go out tomorrow and sport your Buckeye gear! Win or loose this is our team and we wouldn't take it any other way!

Hard to feel badly about this loss. Exceptionally hard fought by both sides, and this game feels like a payment towards a very bright future with Pryor, Brewster, and other youngsters (holy Thaddeus) who will learn so much from an experience like this. Pryor wouldn't agree, I'm sure, but I thought he really took some steps forward tonight.
Now that the game is over, I think I can actually want PSU and JoePa to go all the way. Would be good for the conference, and in turn good for us. Beyond that, it's just a good story.

Be water my friend.
Conservative play calling on offense didn't help. How many times did Ohio State throw on 1st down? Holding this PSU team to 13 points should be a W. I keep waiting for something new to happen on offense and nothing really ever does. This team has to be 90-95% run on first down. It's a wasted down anymore. Very frustrating.

Another National game, another loss. This isn't going to help OSU's National rep. What happened to "Jim Tressel, big game hunter"? Besides Michigan 2006, he has lost every big game he's coached since Notre Dame.

Time for a new name
This loss isn't too bad. PSU to nat'l champ. We still get BCS birth if we can win out. We were, in all likely hood, out of the national championship picture anyways. I know it sucks, no outright big10 title, but you cant get them all. We'll be the better team next year.
