OHIO STATE 49, WISCONSIN 48 (Final)

Yep....

Do you think Ohio State is "hot" at this point and time?

I don't.

I don't think Florida is either, FWIW or Texas A&M.....

No. But, the B10 tourney would be a great time to catch fire. Also, if the B10 officiating is so bad, won't we benifit from a better called game starting in the first round of the NCAA?

Maybe.

Unfortunately bad officiating hasn't exactly been hoarded by the Big Ten....

The ACC and SEC have some equally pathetic refs...

our team's in the big ten. the games are physical. they've been that way for years. i'd much rather see the officiating we had for this game than i would see a bunch of ticky-tack fouls called. after having watched the game a second time, the officiating wasn't nearly as bad as it appeared in real time.

if you want to watch games that are determined by excessive foul calls, watch the acc.

no, come crunch time tourney time the officials are going to swallow their whistles too. id rather have a physical game determine it than a bunch of ticky tack fouls down the stretch...

I thought everyone was saying the B10 officials were calling ticky tack stuff, not "just" swallowing their whistles. So, as long as the NCAA refs "just" swallow their whistles, we would be in better shape? I thought..or not, whatever. :p

Apparently CBS decided the game didn't get high enough ratings...

Remember in 2002 when CBS was going out of their way to trash the Big Ten and Ohio State because they figured that OSU couldn't match up and make a game out of the Fiesta Bowl with Miami?

If I am remembering correctly, and this must've killed them, I don't think they picked Florida over Ohio State either.

I LIKE the fact that CBS doesn't like Ohio State's chances. They have such a perfect record so far.

if "everyone" thought that, they need to watch the game again. having watched it twice, it is apparent that no one could reasonably think that the refs were calling ticky-tack fouls. well, there will always be touch fouls called during a game. this game, however, did not see much of them. most of the fouls were called when there was obvious contact.
