Yeah, I think the score was something like OSU 70 Pitt 7 or there abouts.....

owen Wrote: Timid Offensive gameplan contributed mightily for the resounding and upsetting blowout and I think it is because our HC was on the staff at OSU. Of course execution was weak of that lousy gameplan anyway.
OU was leading the Bucks into the 4th quarter, BGSU has twice come close, Marshall was a field goal away. All these teams can come close but University of Toledo has yet to score! That really [censored]es me off.
I agree with you Owen in regard to Beckman being on the tOSU staff. Did he not want to open things up in fear of getting on the wrong side of his buddy Tressle? There was too much feel good BS leading up to the this game in regard to Beckman and his relationship to Tressle.
Why did we not even try to run the ball in the 1st half? Was Beckman doing Tressle a favor by running a watered down spread, so tOSU could be ready for Illinois? We were playing like we were down huge from the start. I don't care if we only got a yard on a rushing attempt. Give it a shot. If nothing else, we would have ran some clock. Instead, we'd run two quick slants and then throw it up for grabs long. We didn't move the chains, didn't run any clock and ended up giving tOSU a short field numerous times. I'm still [censored]ed about the playcalling. Did we fire the guy who called last weeks game? Did he take the week off after such a good performance against CU?
