Wow a Michigan fan praising buckeyes :osu:Well we will say this Malcolm vs Manningham should be the best Corner/Wr Lock up of year....If i were michigan i wouldnt run hart but maybe a cpl times to get his legs under him till osu... Carr has ran hart into the ground...And now the rest of country knows Marcus Freeman yes Laurnatis is the man in Middle But Freeman is stepping up to be one of best in country also... Go Bucks

I do try to give praise to the Buckeyes if they deserve it. At 8-0 and the #1 ranking, it's hard for me to say anything bad against them, isn't it?

Manningham vs. Jenkins will be a dandy. Hopefully if Manningham jukes Jenkins out of his jock again Henne will actually put the ball on the money. I don't expect MM to have a huge game against Jenkins, but I would like something like 6-75-1. Henne usually gives MM more looks than AA, but Arrington could be the difference maker in that game as he is our best all-around receiver and a great RZ target.

Hart has been run into the ground and they probably should rest him as much as they can. That being said, with games @ MSU, @ Wisconsin before the Game, how much they will be able to rest him is uncertain, 150+ yard games from Minor and Brown be damned.

I knew a little about Marcus Freeman, but he's really vaulted himself into the conversation as one of the top LBs in the game with a big time performance in a big time game. He was everywhere last night.

That Cam Heyward fella is gonna be pretty good for you guys too I think

Oh one more thing. On that one sack, I came to the conclusion that Vern Gholston is a man beast. More to come on this stunning conclusion later.

With all due respect to many who played outstanding games...
This one belongs to the O-line... They were superlative...

My buddy, a PSU fan who doesn't catch much of OSU, sends me this gem of a text from the game last night.

"Ohio State's LT and LG are beastly"

I reply

"Yeah, sadly for Michigan so are their C, RG, and RT"

The OL did do an amazing job last night. I didn't see much of Maurice Evans

I had the pleasure of watching last night's game amongst a handful of scum fans. 1st quarter....I hear, see...they can't even take the opening drive to pay dirt, just a fG!!! tOSU is overerated!!:roll1:

I just laugh this non sense off because I know the Bucks will win and seeing as how I'm at my brother-in-laws B-day party I'm not getting into a pissing match in the first quarter over a FG!!!

psu scores and now it's on!!:shake:

even though tOSU goes right down the field and scores a TD and later goes up 17-7 it still continues to be a 7 on 1 discussion about the game and we're kickin their asses!!!

I love the fact that no one believes we're for real, by the 4th quarter it was over and they knew it and they insisted the world series be put on instead...wow I guess they couldn't stand the crow they had to eat!!!

although I didn't see much of the 4th quarter it was a great to see our offense play so well. not a single punt by tOSU, I love it!!!

It would appear the team feels the same way about the national lack of respect we do. Bold is mine.

Receiver Brian Hartline said he hoped a road win against a ranked team such as No. 24 Penn State would quiet some critics.
"Everyone is giving us a lack of credit just because of our schedule, supposedly," Hartline said. "I'm sure somehow they'll figure out Penn State isn't that good or something. But we're all right, we'll keep chugging."

STATE COLLEGE, PA.: Ohio State and Penn State left little doubt that Saturday night's game at Beaver Stadium would be a rocking affair from start to finish.
Ohio State solidified its top national ranking with a 37-17 rout.
''It doesn't matter. We have to prove whatever we are at the end of 2007,'' Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said.
The Nittany Lions (6-3, 3-3 Big Ten) let it be known from their opening drive that they wouldn't roll up in a ball like a domesticated kitty by taking the ball and marching 78 yards in nine plays to take the lead against the OSU defense, which came into the game rated the best in the nation.

I read a post on Fox Sports that made me laugh about how you will see the headline tOSU beats a weak PSU team in relaxed atmosphere and Florida loses a tough game to a tremendous opponent in a tough battle in a hostile environment. Blah, Blah, Blah

It is almost comical now.

Showing support
Penn State fans showed some creativity with clever handmade signs.
Painted on one bedsheet was "Kiss Connor's Butkus," a reference to senior linebacker Dan Connor's bid to win the Butkus Award as the top linebacker. And a hand-held poster said, "My girlfriend gave me Laurinaitis."

Buckeyes tame Nittany Lions

Behind solid performances by Boeckman and Wells, Ohio State rolls to 37-17 win.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — The Penn State band performed a song from the Blues Brothers soundtrack at halftime, and the public address announcer reminded fans that the main characters in the flick were on a mission from God.
Ohio State's marching orders might not be heaven-sent, but quarterback Todd Boeckman and his partners are clearly on a mission.
Boeckman cranked out three touchdown passes, running back Chris Wells rushed for 133 yards on 25 carries, and the No. 1 Buckeyes kept their national-title hopes percolating with a 37-17 victory over the 24th-ranked Nittany Lions here Saturday night.
Boeckman, who was 19-of-26 passing for 253 yards with one interception, connected for touchdowns of nine yards to Brian Robiskie, 16 to Brian Hartline and 15 to Jake Ballard, silencing a throng of 110,134, the second-largest crowd in Penn State history.
