OK, how about when the 'Trojans meet the turf'?

Since it's football, that sounded better than tarmac.

I'll go with "Dirty Sanchez"...

On offense we should be better, but that obviously depends on sanchez

I understand why you would think this. However ya'll lost 3 lineman, a great TE, and a senior QB. Like you said it depends on Sanchez, but like I said you're only as good as your oline. The Running backs, and the under achieving talent at WR will not produce if the protection is not there. So first its up to the offensive line. Can they gel in time for OSU? Can they give the QB time to throw the ball, and can they make lanes for the RB's? Not saying they won't be great, but its easier said than done to just throw 5 lineman out and think they'll be fine.

They are all pretty funny! Actually, when other teams fans stop calling the Trojans funny names, thats no good, because thay usually means a team is no longer relevant in the polls, So crack on!

Here is something to keep in mind for this (or any other) game.

OSU under Jim Tressel is 57-3 when leading at the half.

The 3 losses were:
2001 to Wisky (lead 17-7 lost 20-17)
2001 to PSU (lead 13-9 lost 29-27)
2005 to Texas (lead 16-13 lost 25-22)

EDIT

3-0 when tied at the half
13-13 when trailing at the half

So to recap thats a 95% win pct when tied or ahead at the half and only 50% when trailing.

Again, I think alittle to much is being made of the o-line. Those 3 o-linemen we lost missed some games last year, and I believe all but 1 of the new guys had multiple starts, at different positions. If the coaching staff can get the positions set early, I dont think it will be as big a deal as people think. At TE right now I think McCoy is slated as a starter, but Ellison had a good spring, and I look for the freshman Ayles to get some pt also. The kid is the real deal. At wr they can only get better with a full season under their belts, but we will see. Everything still points to sanchez IMO. His mobility will help the o-line alittle bit until they gell better.:)

Allen Bradford and C.J. Gable never seemed that impressive to me. Will Green, Tyler, McKnight etc get any of their carries?
I think most of the carries at least early on will go to Staphon Johnson, then the other backs will get carries as well. The starter can change from week to week,it depends on how the guys practice. They have to earn a spot EVERY week so its anybodies guess. Oh, Bradford is a converted linebacker I believe.:)

What are SC fans thoughts on the Trojans going with a more conservative game plan considering Sanchez's inexperience?
Well, sanchez isnt as inexperienced as everyone thinks. Sure, he has only started 3 games, but this is his 4th year in the system. As for the game plan, I think it will just depend on how he is making decisions and plays. It will depend on his game maturity and how he handles different looks from defenses, and how well and fast he makes reads. I say let it all hang out, but thats why I am a fan and not a coach.

offensive line is a position where it really doesn't matter if you've a couple back ups who have some game experience. An oline needs chemistry, and must trust each other. Sure I can see why you think it won't be a huge deal on September 13th but I think its a bigger deal than ya'll think. Offenisve line is one of those things where you can't really just plug a guy in and assume everything is status quo. Also Sanchez isn't moble is he? He never looked very mobile to me when I watched?

Also when are you going to have a quarterback who doesn't have to wear big bulky knee braces? I mean there has to be some QB's out there with blown out knee's? Wtf every year ya'll have a QB who reminds me of Jake Taylor from Major League.
