Ohio State Will Beat USC: And Here's How It Will Happen | Bleacher Report
Nice! Now it goes from seeing a friend off to Iraq to hanging with thugs in colton? Very opinionated posters today! Thank god for the judicial system! Innocent until PROVEN guilty, end of story! Its what makes this such a great country!visaliabuck;1258475; said:Yep it just reaffrims what Ray Smalls said:
Something like "...At Ohio State they teach you to be a better man.....at USC its just about football..."
Regardless of whether he was "in-custody", he was charged and arrainged which means there was enough evidence, based on probable cause, that he comitted the crime. And in the State of California for there to be resistance that amounts to a felony (its usually a misdemeanor) there has to be violence and or injuries to a peace officer.
Look up section 69 of the California Penal Code. Guilty or not I think a coach, and I don't care what school or game, needs to at least suspend the player for something. Had he been in his dorm doing what he's supposed to be doing instead of hanging out with the thugs in Colton then would have never happened. Just my .02 cents
GO BUCKS!!!!
I read it, so? I guess he broke the cops nose like one of the other posters said, and they released him at the scene to be charged days later? Come on Are you kidding me? HE WASNT ARRESTED! He was detained at the scene, then released. Several other people were arrested! This whole thing stinks. You cant tell me that if he did resist, he would EVER be released at the scene! NO WAY!visaliabuck;1258475; said:Yep it just reaffrims what Ray Smalls said:

Forsett:
31 carries, 164 yards, 1 touchdown
2 catches, 45 yards
Mendenhall:
17 carries, 155 yards, 1 touchdown
5 catches, 59 yards
Stewart:
25 carries, 103 yards, 1 touchdown
2 catches, 21 yards
To me, USC's greatest weakness is it's run defense. They have been run over every single time they have played against an elite running back over the last few years, if you go back even farther. In a way, USC plays as many elite running backs as Ohio State plays against teams that use a very efficient spread offense.
Thus, I think that Ohio State can pull off the win if they play classic old Tresselball. The defense needs to show up and contain USC's numerous weapons. They cannot make a ton of mistakes. The offense needs to take whatever the defense gives them. The special teams unit will need to have solid net punting yards and net return yards. Today, Ohio State needs to play like a team. I think they can pull it off.
27-24 Ohio State.
