I love when guys equate imprisonment with playing football. No one is suggesting his right to freedom should be taken away based on felony charges. We're suggesting the privilege to play college football should be suspended pending the outcome of the judicial process.

The fact that you, and your coach, can't tell the difference is pathetic. Winning at all costs must be really important to you. I'll say it again - class...all the wins in the world can't buy it.
You can use words like pathetic and class, the bottom line is NONE of us were there, NONE of us know what was said, this whole conversation is based on a fricken news article! So, I guess you are all for doing what they did to dukes lacrosse team? A lot of kids lives were changed, and all because some DA was on a witch hunt! Whatever. You can have your opinion, and I can have mine. Just agree to disagree. Have a great night!

With all due respect:

Understand that while some of the venom is being passed in the direction of SC and CPC's direction, the source of that venom is based on the differences in the way our program's are dealt with in the press. While you may agree or not, there is significant reason as a Buckeye fan -- especially after the MoC ordeal, to feel that other schools are provided with a "get out of jail free" card (no pun intended) while we do not pass go and do not collect our $200.

Walk a mile in the shoes of a Buckeye, start your journey back in December of '01... and keep walking our path up until the end of tonight's game. It will be painfully evident that of which I type.

And to your point, I think that Duke LAX is a great example. If there are any two schools in the country that can understand how it feels to be under the microscope... Duke and tOSU share that (undesired) bond. For that reason alone I will not pass judgment in this case. I'll let it all get sorted out before doing so. Bet your bottom dollar, if it were a Buckeye in the same situation as RB or this most recent example, it's headline worthy... not ESPiN ticker worthy.

To me the biggest key to the game is the wideouts getting seperation from the DB's. That has been the O's biggest problem the last few years against good man teams

It's a key, for sure, especially with no Beanie. We need some plays from Robiskie and Hartline to keep pace.

As I told your fellow Trojan Pete Carroll has a track record that goes well beyond this one incident. I don't like the way he does business. Deal with it.

I love when fans of opposing teams show up and seem genuinely shocked when their team isn't adored and respected as much by opposing fans, as it is by them.

I'm not "jumping to conclusions" about Pete Carroll. He's been around for years, and he has a track record. I don't like the way he does business. Such is life.

That's called an opinion, and you're entitled to one. What I asked was that everyone try to keep their opinions as unbiased as possible and reserve judgment until the incident is sorted out.
I don't expect Buckeye fans to worship at the alter of Carroll but I do expect them to exercise some fairness in their assessment of other programs, especially on such things as legal matters where the laymen almost never has access to all the information needed to make truly informed judgment on the matter.

Well said! I can only speak for myself, but I didnt like the way things are handled in the press, no matter what school the player is from! I feel the same for this kid as I would for a buckeye, a bruin,[cant believe I said that one LOL!] a notre damer, or any other university. I just dont want this to take away from tonights game, whether SC wins or loses, thats all.Good post! Thanks!
