I am just glad most of the people that already have him convicted arent judges! I have NEVER heard of anyone being detained at the scene, let go when others are arrested, and THEN get charged with a felony days later! Sounds fishy to me!

"Ohhh, so you play for USC? Well in that case we'll let you go for now, but we're still going to charge you. Don't worry, we'll wait until it's too close to the game for you to be punished until we announce it."

I'd love to know what Jam O and Donald Washington did to get benched for two games. They must have murdered someone.

Wright gets charged with a felony and Pete says "I talked to him and it's all good." :slappy: CLASSIC!!!!!!!!

Like Wright is going to come in and say "Man, I fucked that cop up. Sorry Coach." But I guess if he did say sorry he'd be playing anyway.

All Pete would have to say is "Dude, he said he was sorry. So I decided to play him."

USC is the lowest of the low when it comes to program standards. Playing players after felony charges, breaking multiple college rules, such as paying their recruits, giving Reggie Bush money to buy his Hummers etc, I hope we beat the [censored] out of them tonight now. What a horrible message to send to the youth.

"Its alright Bobby, even if you commit a felony you can still play football!"

Jim Tressel suspended our starting QB for our biggest game of the season - Michigan - for a DUI charge. Petey let's a guy play facing a FELONY charge.

It speaks volumes.

I'm in favor of the policy of suspending the guy until the situation is cleared up (like Tressel would likely do), BUT....let's remember that we don't know the exact circumstances, and he is innocent until proven guilty.

I agree. I don't think he he should be imprisoned for being charged but given the nature of the offense he should sit until it is resolved.

WWJTD?

We know the answer. But that's why he's JT and Petey's Petey.

Did they let him go, and then charge him with a dui days later? Not the same thing. Trust me, when I lived in cali, the cops dont let you go for nothing! If they even thought he was remotely involved, they arrest him and let the judge figure it out. If, and thats a big if, he is guilty, he will be dealt with. I know most dont believe that, but he will be in trouble.

I totally disagree, there is no innocent until proven guilty here, the dude has been CHARGED with a FELONY. Not "a suspect", not "affiliated", he is CHARGED. Not a misdemeanor, FELONY. Ray Small was right, its all about football over there, its about life over here.
