Especially if you are here right now, you are not an ordinary fan.
Fair-weather fans will sell their tickets to the Troy game. Some might still go, but will sit on their hands.
The team needs us, the true fans, more than ever. Right now, they need the true fans to stand up and show their support.
I've been in the stadium many times, and I've seen what a few vocal supporters can do. I've seen how my brother and I can get our whole section fired up; how our section and a few others could affect the whole damn 'Shoe.
Stand up. Get those around you involved. It might take awhile. You might stand out and feel self conscious for awhile. But they will take your lead. I know, I've seen it. I've done it.
Stand up. We may be disappointed in their performance. We may be discouraged and maybe a little disillusioned. But they are still the Buckeyes. They are still wearing the Scarlet and Grey. And they are wondering if we're still with them. They may not say it, but if you give them credit for being normal human beings; you know they're thinking it.
Stand up. Because the Buckeyes need you.
Stand up. Because you're not a fair-weather fan.
Stand up. Because it's time to show everyone what it means to be a true fan.
Stand up. Be a Buckeye... A real Buckeye.

Here's to the boys waking the fuck up and busting some ass.
I'm really hoping something clicks with this team and this week starts it, if they don't then this could be another let down. Troy is not a team to overlook, i.e. OU, and there is nothing left to hold this team back. They need to earn the respect because they will no longer get it based on recruiting classes and Big Ten wins. Most everyone here understands how competitive the Big Ten is, but the media doesn't feel the same. A 9 spot drop in the polls says alot. This team could go into Camp Randall ranked lower than the Badgers. They have to get through this game first too though. And they will.
I see you've been brainwashed by the national media as well. There's a difference between making mental errors and being out of position and being slow. The number of defensive players we've had drafted recently would certainly refute our defense being slow.TSU1997;1260498; said:Don't be suprised if the game is still close in the 4th qtr. You guys are good but you are not unbeatable. Troy will not just come to play, they are coming to win. There is enough skill on this Troy team to cause you some problems. I'm not saying this because I'm a Troy fan. I'm saying this because I'm a football fan and I watch football and not just my own team. Of the 100K fans that will be at the game this week, only 10K of then will have ever heard of Troy and most of them will be from troy. Football now days is all about matchups. How many of you thought that Ohio would have played you that close a few weeks ago...Do don't match up well with teams who have a mobile QB that spreads you out on D...None of the Big Ten teams do....Remember LSU, FL, USC, ILL..they beat you because they spread you out and put there speed to work on you slow D....If they would have tried to play a power game OSU would have killed them..But you fans who don't watch anybody but your team or who just don't understand the game and matchups o-well. I'll see you in the shoe on Sat. Get ready to be there for the duration of the game because it won't be decided until late in the 4th qtr. This won't be a homecoming I'll bet you that..

Troy is not LSU Florida Illinois or USC
and they really do not have near the caliber of players that those teams had

Don't be afraid of the spread. When you're scared you'll turtle and Troy will run all over you.
