Game Thread Ohio State 28, Troy 10 (Final, Sep. 20)

What is there to do on the Friday before the game?

I am traveling from texas to see this game and I am bringing my 18 yr old nephew to see his first ever Buckeye game in person. We should get there early Friday morning. I was wondering is there any activities that an 18 yr old can partake of the night before the game? I want his first live Buckeye football experiance to be a great one.

Thanks for any help.
And GO BUCKS!!!

I'd suggest just grabbing some dinner at Eddie's restaraunt or the Buckeye HOF Cafe and after just walking around the area by the stadium. It should be pretty live.

Thanks, I appreciate the information. I have not been up there since Eddie opened his restaraunt so that would be a great place to go.

If you haven't seen the development on High Street, you'll be really surprised. My dad saw it for the first time and couldn't believe it. When he went to tOSU, he remembered walking to a theater in the Short North area and getting propositioned on the way back, police sirens, etc. haha.

i haven't bet on an Ohio State game since Cincinnati in '02, and i'm going to go bet the house on Troy.

I don't see any other play than that at this point.

I won't be suprised in the least at this point if we have an Ohio U x 2, if not outright lose to Troy.

The book has been well written on how to beat OSU and Troys athletes will play with emotion (well to be fair so will OSU's but apathy isn't an emotion that wins a lot of football games).

I think TP and as much of the Brew Crew as we can get on the field is the only hope for this team going forward. I don't think we can count on Beanie the rest of the year and I know we can't count on our existing OL and QB to get the job done against the better teams left on the schedule.

Wisconsin and PSU stand a chance to give us a serious mauling in the trenches. Illinois offense is tailor made to shred our D, ditto Northwestern and MSU.

I'm saying right now that without Beanie we will not win the B10 as we are currently constructed.

This one could be a trap game after the big letdown. The Bucks are gonna have to forget what happend last week and take it to these guys early. Troy loves playing a tough out-of-conference schedule and will beat one of those highly thought of teams they play every once in a while.

And for the record, Troy put up 65 points and 736 total yards in a shutout of Alcorn State (D-1AA) in their home opener last night.

Hey, just wanted to stop by to say hello and get some feedback on this weeks matchup with Troy. I know you guys are down because of the loss yesterday to USC. I see B. Wells didn't play any update on his status for this week? I hope he is able to get back on the field soon.
i don't know how logical that statement is if your really a troy trojan fan, because i know i wouldn't want my team to play against him. Reguardless this tOSU team should be ready to play this week after two straight dismal performances as noted. However I do hope beanie can just get healthy for the big ten season and maybe rejuvinate the team, we all know it's much needed.
