Not to mention the fact that Michigan will probably have a bowl trip on the line. They're going to give us their best game of the season, without a doubt.
There is little question about just how bad UM is. However, they do have some athletes on that team. Not the caliber of OSU, but certainly better than a team like, say, Purdue.
That game wouldn't just send them to a bowl, it would turn their entire season. It would get the monkey off RRs back (although it would still be humping his leg).
It would be a huge upset - something akin to our losing to Purdue or their losing to App St. But shit happens.
And the likelihood it will happen is directly related to how unlikely the favorite believes it will happen.
To be sure Michigan is down, but there is a lesson to be learned here from my 7YO grandson.
After playing his first tackle football game I asked him what he thought he said "It was fun. I knocked a kid down and when he tried to get back up I knocked him down again."
