In theory, that sounds great. But TP has not been throwing it accurately. I'm a little nervous to let him start chucking it around our there. Maybe JT gets a little more creative with some other ways to move the football though. Pull out all the stops...whatever it takes to win this sucker.

That's fine, but how about a screen or two to mix it up a bit. Easy passes for TP, get Sanzo or Small on the corner, and we get positive yardage.

I dont care that TP's completion percentage is down in the first half. The most important thing are:

1) He has had no INT's and no fumble, which means the kid is making smart throws and not forcing anything.

2) Hes poised and confident. Hes not running all over the place, nor is he trying to win the game on each play. He is the picture of comfortable in this game. Doing so in this environment speaks volumes about his growth.

Lets go Bucks!

All considering, a good half for the good guys.

The line has held their own against PSU, has picked up the blitz packages and TP has been quick to run when he has a lane. Tress has been calling a pretty decent game with a few wrinkles thrown in. We need to keep running the ball and having some success in that area.

Too bad TP missed Dane in the endzone. To go up by 10 pts would have been huge!! Hopefully, a similar kind of play will be there in the 2nd half.

The D has played stellar, with the exception of PSU's long drive and bogus TD on the QB sneak. The key is stuffing the run, which our D has been pretty good at. MORE OF THE SAME for the 2nd half.

If we can get a strategic turnover in Penn State terriority it could go a long way in helping us control the clock and get some more Red Zone opportunities.

GO BUCKS!!!!
Beat PSU!

We threw a few laterals and screens. The one screen to the tight end we threw got blown up. I think that with the different plays we called in the first half, we now know what will work and what wont after a full half. Tress will get our boys ready.

The second half will come down to attitude. A long 15 minute break can define this team for the next 10 quarters of the season. Our defense needs to stay both pumped and observant, the O needs to be ready, confident and smart not to play well but to WIN.

We need a very strong defensive stance to begin the 2nd half and quit playing a zone defense which is allowing the short throws that turn into 1st downs. On offense we need to spread the field and throw the ball on 1st down like we did at the end of the half, get the receivers open because the offense of line is holding tight.

The Zone Defense is working fine....we've played unbelievable on Defense so far. Don't change something that's working.

Ah, still upset over that overthrow by Pryor to Dane right before the half..Should be at least 20-7 right now Buckeyes.

I'm loving this defense though.

Not only that one, but the over throw to Small but Pryor looked at him like it was Small's fault he did not catch it when the ball was well over his head.
