The sky is falling! The sky is falling!
Ohio State beat Ohio University 26-14 Saturday in a game admittably long on mistakes and short on bright spots. It has prompted cries and doom and gloom from Buckeye fans as well as smug assurances from media and fans across the nation that the Buckeyes are being led to a slaughter when they travel to Los Angeles to take on the USC Trojans this upcoming weekend. It?s time to get a grip!
Should anyone have really been surprised that the Buckeyes looked out of sorts in the first half? Were you expecting sharp and focused in the game before a program and conference-defining game? So much focus has been put on the team struggling, that no one seems to have noticed that when the team was threatened at 14-6 down, they came back to score 20 straight points, taking the ball away three times in the process. There?s more fight in this team than people are giving them credit for. They just needed a good slap in the face to make them realize they needed to take care of business before the big game next week.

For all the angst on our board and the self-congratulatory circle jerk happening on the FredOU board, one would think we lost.

WE WON....BY ALMOST TWO TOUCHDOWNS!

Despite the worst sleepwalk job that I've ever seen by a JT coached team, we still held them to under 250 yards and won by just less than a 2 TD margin.

Fredo went home as losers. Sure, they didn't go home as the humiliated, ass-raped losers that I was hoping for, but they went home as losers nonetheless. End of story!

OS-Who? Theeee Ohio State University--your motherfucking flagship campus--who played their worst game in memory and still sent you home as 12 point losers.

Hmmm...we play our worst game and win by 12. USC played their worst game last year, against as bad of an opponent in Stanford, and lost. Hmmm...yet at the end of the season people still had them as the best team in the country. Blah blah blah...I guess what i'm saying is USC is a fruad!

If any of the guys who really know football here have the time, I would like to see them comment on some of the things that Jeff Amey had to say in his "blog". I believe he is a high school football coach in Tallahassee and really breaks down Ohio State game film. I would not try to comment on his analysis unless I really knew football.
