Issue was the RB coach change. Alford prefers Davis and Louis(he just got offered by scUM :blush:). Locklyn likes Davison, Jackson, Mills-Knight and Hill. Not saying he doesn't like Davis, just has a better relationship with others, and didn't even offer Davis while at Oregon

Very good. Taking Davison is a no-brainer, but if the target number is 2 at RB then this is going to be a tough one. Especially with the two recent OOS offers. Would love to see all of Davison, Bo Jackson and Davis in this class, but that may be a stretch with numbers. Just would hate to not have Davis in this class, I really think he is dynamic.

I'm just saying, watch what a kid does, not what he tweets/says.
Multiple visits to scUM and not 1 to OSU since Lock was hired. Was supposed to visit for the OSU spring game, and canceled last minute...
Maybe I'm wrong(along with many of the insiders- the last Talking Stuff Podcast with Birm and AE for example), but it doesn't seem like he has much interest in OSU anymore. And Lock has sent out multiple other offers as well

Not enough room at the Inn. This is the third position group that we are now filling up so fast that outstanding options won't get in. DB, RB and WR - soon also QB- are chock full of the best in the country and it's growing not slowing!

I don’t think that’s the case at all for Davis. Day would take his commitment over pretty much everyone in the class, IMO. Kid is really good, but I dont think he wants to go to OSU, and hasnt given Lock much of a chance. Now if he visits sometime in the summer, and/or the fall, then that’s different. But he’s canceled 2 visits within a week to OSU but visited scUM 4 times…

He probably wants to be a Buckeye, but see's the writing on the wall with him not being on Locklyn's radar (at least until now). That is my guess.

Bummer for sure if he goes north, Davis is a guy I've unabashedly rooted for to be in this class. Can't get em all though. Product of great recruiting and one of them good problems, just hoping he'll be in the class though I agree with @pnuts34 that he doesn't look likely right now no matter the reason why.

But that’s the thing, if he wants to be on Lock’s radar why didn’t he just take the visits to OSU? And i know its still early, but he has 3 official visits set up, and OSU isn’t one of them
