Heard that TCUN is telling kids that if sanctions happen they can just transfer out. Not exactly a strong pitch!

Totally good with it considering the circumstances. It makes me smile that he didn't go up north since it was pretty apparent we had other priorities when Lock got here, wish we had room for him. Best of luck to Davis at UK.

Yeah it sucks, because this kid looks like the real deal. Locklyn didn't have a relationship with him when he was at Oregon, and Alford leaving to the Lock hiring, we all should've known that a recruit or 2 would fall through the cracks because Lock didn't view them in the same vein as Alford.
But like everyone has stated, at least he didn't head north. I'm going to be rooting for him in Lexington.

It totally seems like Scum may have hired him thinking he would bring in one of the Ohio RB's right?

It has been stated over and over that Alford can't close. Was this another example.

I agree with Pnut, that Loklyn came in too late, and it would be an uphill battle.

I think if Alford stayed OSU he would have committed to OSU. The kid may have not wanted to go to a program he may have grew up hating. UK offered the perfect alternative.

Agreed, and to piggyback off what you said. If Alford were still at OSU, OSU would most likely land Davis, but lose out on Davidson and Jackson
And I think Davis didn't choose scUM due to the unknown of their possible sanctions(I think that's the primary issue that is drastically affected their recruiting), and not so much his fandom. NIL not only offered the perfect alternative, but they gave a substantial NIL package as well.

And what's funnier, is scUM fans thinking that Vince Morrow is trying to help OSU by landing him. If they only knew that Morrow has deep disdain for OSU!
