Stranger things have happened. I wouldn't rule out that he couldn't possibly flip, but I wouldn't bet on it. On the other hand, Elijah Hood felt like an absolute lock for the Irish a few years ago. Committed to ND and flushed an Alabama recruitment letter down the toilet in a Vine (We'll always have "Roll Toilet..."). He was active in recruiting other players to the school both online and offline. Then "poof," he flipped to North Carolina. It wasn't disbelieving, given that he grew up a Tar Heel, but it was unexpected given the fact he seemed pretty solid with his commitment.

The home state school is a little different though. Kraemer didn't grow up rooting for the Buckeyes. Like you said, Hood was a lifelong Tarheel fan
