#5 overall 1700+540 = 2240 equivalent to the 3rd overall pick
#10 overall 1300+540 = 1840 equivalent to the 4th overall pick
#12 overall 1200+540 = 1740 equivalent to the 5th overall pick
#15 overall 1050+540 = 1590 equivalent to the 6th overall pick
Hmmm... on the surface alone, we just paid the equivalent of a #6 pick to get the 22nd pick in the draft. That's gross mismanagement.

Go ahead and spew some more worthless garbage about this stupid ass fantasy football computer geek point system. Sooner or later you may realize that it doesn't mean jack shit to anyone including most NFL GM's let alone the average NFL fan which is what the audience on this site happens to be.
Well I am sure you already know by now but in case you aren't joking it is his long time girlfriend. I guess they played soccer together growing up in Dublin and they are high school sweethearts. She gets my vote. She knew and loved him before he was a Domer and now before he was rich. Simply put:coastalbuck;826033; said:Late report on where alot of the signing bonus $$$$ is going....

What I want to get to the bottom of, is who was that blond consoling the heartbroken Brady all day long?

The Browns feel that they got the best OL, best CB, and maybe best QB in draft, FWIW.
Just compare the top three picks from the 2007 draft (Thomas, Quinn, Wright) with the top three from the 2005 draft (Edwards, Pool, Frye). No comparison. Thomas, Quinn, and Wright should be cornerstones of the franchise for the next decade, while Frye and Pool are career back-ups and borderline busts, and Braylon is a major head case. If the 2007 draft doesn't turn the Browns around, then nothing will.

IMO Cleveland did well with the trade because of the contract money they save on what they clearly felt was a top-10 caliber QB, but "by the book" they did overspend in terms of draft position. Savage is definitely hoping Cleveland does well enough to send away a mid-20s 1st-rounder next year.
Agreed that is one of my favorite " I'D HIT THAT'S". Well played, sir. Once again I have learned life lessons from Dr. Seuss, that dude just keeps on giving.Big Papa;826085; said:

Sometimes you have to take a risk, and in this case, to me, the "points" aren't worth a shit here. Would you have rather them keep their pick and maybe draft Chad Henne next year or someone with less of a skill set? This team needs a QB and they need one today, not next year. The fan base is sick of losing and they want to see this team put a quality product on the field this year and win some games and that is the mentality that Savage/Crennel went into this draft with. Who can help us TODAY. I personally, could not agree more with it.
