Eventually the fans will stop going.....the ones that still do go with that crap on the field are complicit :p

If they haven't stopped going yet, they never will. Truth be told, there will be a sizeable ND following that will love Quinn on the Browns, and most casual fans just know him as a "name" who is an Ohio boy who wants to come home. I'd say there will be a large cross-section of Browns fans that will love having him. I just don't know if I can root for a team that has spent so much time accumulating players that I don't like. First it's a loudmouth TE from Cryami that apparently can't drive his motorcycle accross the parking lot without crashing into a curb. Then a WR from scUM that can't seem to hold onto the ball when it hits him in the hands. Next we sign a drug investor. Now for the grand finale, a QB from ND who's college career highlight was almost beating the national champion runners up a couple years ago. I love the Browns. I've been a fan for over twenty years. I didn't give two shits about the NFL from 1996-1998. But these personnel decisions are really putting me in a tough spot.

That may be....they can have him.

If the NFL scouts detailed exclusively to NoD say he isn't worth it, I'll take that anyday of the week.

I could see the Winslow pick, although i think they would've gotten him either way had they not traded up. He has shown in spots that he can be a good player. Braylon's pick was a joke I agree there. Honestly the best 1st rounder the Browns have made since they've been back plays for the Saints now.

I can go back to just paying attention to College football and basketball along with Hockey.

It honestly wouldn't be that hard either being where I live, I generally get the Bungles games anyway.....but I had no reason to get NFL Sunday Ticket to see the Browns lose....

i feel your pain brother.. getting winslow hurt me but i could look past it because it was gonna make the team better. when they got braylon i thought, 1st miami now scUM too.. but again i thought edwards would be a quality NFL reciever. Jamal..jamal.. we'll wait and see but again i can overlook his past troubles and affiliations if he can help improve the browns. we all know kwins and moped shit, and yeah braylon can't cacth worth a shit so far so we'll see.. but im hurting too as im sure most browns fans are :(

I never thought I'd question my loyalty to the Browns and the NFL, but if they make this pick and WHEN it doesn't work out, I'll get more done on Sundays in the future.

Such utter bullshit if that moron Randy Lerner can't see how inept Brady Quinn is. I wouldn't take him unless he slipped to the 4th fucking round.

No, I don't want Quinn. But if we take him, I'll cheer for him when he takes the field. Hell, who knows? Maybe he'll end up being pretty good.

I actually think Quinn will be a adequate pro quarterback. Better than Fry at the very least.

My problem is that drafting Quinn doesn't do us any good for at least two years. I'd rather build the line and shore up the defense before worrying about getting a great quarterback. I think it's a fallacy for horrible teams to rebuild from the quarterback up. Quinn getting sacked forty times this year would just be a mess.

Disagree. Frye is a bit more mobile than Quinn is.

Frye has shown some things in spurts. The problem is that we truly just don't know what he'll do behind a good offensive line or when he has an effective running game.

That entire process starts over with Quinn. I won't say he will be a bad NFL QB either, but he won't be a good NFL QB with the Browns. Too many holes and one body won't fix it.

Fry shows glimpses of being good, but he shows consistently that he doesn't have the strongest arm and that he's a pretty poor decision maker. I''d rather go one more year with Fry and see where we're at after that than draft Quinn now, but if we somehow draft Quinn(knock on wood), I think he'd instantly be the most talented QB on the roster, and that isn't really a compliment to Quinn.
