You couldn't see behind Biron's glove, but using common sense it's pretty obvious to me that the puck was in. But since we couldn't see the white between the puck and the line it doesn't count..

Oh well. This definitely hurts peoples' argument that the Pens winning is a conspiracy to get the NHL more publicity. :tongue2:

Pens win 4-2 again. Good game. Philly was physical tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if this series comes back to Pittsburgh 2-2. Actually, I'd be surprised if it didn't..

Hopefully Coburn can play next game.

Had Osgood actually tried to butt-end him Ribiero wouldn't have been in a position to slash Osgood in the chest in the chest in the first place....and that still doesn't excuse Ribiero from slashing a guy in the chest, I don't care if he said his mother worked at one of DaytonBuck's favorite strip clubs....

Better yet, Ribiero shouldn't have even been on the ice, if you watch the replay of the Morrow penalty when there was about 15 seconds left, he damn near took out the referee by slamming his stick against the glass (he also broke his stick on the play)...

It's one thing to hit someone, it's entirely different to take a two-handed slash across someone's chest (regardless of whether or not they're wearing pads to protect the area).

bull shit. osgood has no reason to even move his arm towards the guy. if you're going to be a pussy and hide behind the rules of the game, don't cry when somebody breaks those rules to get back at you.

it's like somebody talking shit and getting in the face of Shaq. don't start crying if he decides the suspension and fine is worth it to slug you across your vagina.

No one is crying about anything. Nor am I defending Osgood in this situation. If Riberio thinks a suspension or fine is worth it, that's fine. I'm all for scrappy play in hockey, but I don't think it's okay to slash with an intent to injure, I don't care how pissed off you are. If you want to take off the gloves and throw down, be my guest and fight like men. There's no point in throwing retaliatory cheap shots.

I also want to add, I'd be just as upset (if not more so) if it was a Detroit player who slashed someone. It's just unneccessary.

Like I said, not defending Osgood by any means. There were just many more acceptable forms of retaliation that Riberio could have done. Regardless, both fined, case closed... until tonight, I'm sure.

like what though? swipe at his head and miss? he's a hockey player....he knew what was coming back at him. he was just hoping his teammates would've protected him better because all goalies are pussies who hide behind their teammates.
