    Great way to start the series by the Pens. Freakin' 41year old Gary Roberts with 2 goals. He was the MAN last night, even challenging the Senators to a fight before being thrown out of the game :)

    MAF was very good last night with the shutout win. Although to be honest, besides power plays the Sens didn't put up much of fight.

    Game 2 is set for Friday, if the Sens don't come out with more fire this series could be over quickly

    The Pens need to cut down on the penalties if they expect to win game 2. Aside from the penalties, they played a pretty good overall game. They finished their checks, played some decent offense and got tough when necessary. Nice to see Whitney whip Reddens ass when he started giving Crosby shit. Good game by Fleury, too. It's nice that they have 2 days off between games 2/3 and 4/5. Of course that helps the Sens also.

    Cal-gary stole one in San Jose. Great job by Iginla of batting the puck out of the air and passing it in front of the net on the Phaneuf goal. Taking a quick 2-0 lead was big for the Flames. I still can't see them winning the series, the Sharks look so good everywhere.

    Sucks that the Caps-Flyers series doesn't start until Friday. That would have been great viewing for tonight. Oh well, I'll just have to watch to see
    what Tootoo does toinight to piss off the Wings.

    He seems to be at his best (or worst) at home. If they go home down 2-0, I expect him to start taking a run at a few people back in Nashville.

    Quite a few people dressed as empty seats last night in Detroit.
