The Wings will find a way to blow game 5 in Detroit and then will get blown out of the building in Game 6 back in Trashville.

And of course the idiot coach won't bother to swap goalies out. Or change up his lineup or even get any intensity from his players. They've tuned him out.

Well... he did swap goalies, but unfortunately it looks like it's too late tonight. Hopefully going back home will give us the spark we so desperately need.

Even if they win the Cup (they won't), but even if they do, it's time to blow it up.

This team has tuned out Babcock. it's old and slow and doesn't appear to be able to bring a consistent effort from shift to shift much less game to game.

Everyone over 35 and NOT named Lidstrom needs to be cut and/or traded. Maybe keep Ozzie too because he's been the best goalie this team has had since Mike Vernon anyway and that counts Hasek in 2002.

This team is too old and slow to get to loose pucks. Holland talks up veteran savvy but vet savvy isn't going to win crap in the playoffs anymore.

They need some younger energy guys and they need to quit experimenting with 40-somethings like Chelios and Hasek and bring up some of the guys from Grand Rapids. It's not like Holland hasn't had the chance to build the minors up - hell it's amazing the Griffins don't win their league every single year.

Win or lose it's time to rebuild from within. and if that means Holland has to go, I'm ok with that too.

We're getting a little ahead of ourselves, don't you think? It's really too early to think "if we win the cup" - how about, can we win tonight or can we win game 5 or 6? I'd like to believe that if we find the spark, we have a chance to get to the next round, and that's as far ahead as I'm currently willing to think.

If that's your criteria, then we'd get rid of Hasek, Chelios, McCarty, Drake, Draper, Maltby, & Holmstrom?

Back to the game... now that it's only a one goal difference again...

Maybe - I'm usually wrong about such things anyway

But to be honest, this series is really starting to feel like 2004....

Yep. Every single one of them. In fact 4 of the 7 you listed aren't likely to be back anyway becuase they are UFAs....

Not yet, Mikey! :tongue2:

Detroit wins in OT! Game 6 in Nashville on Sunday.

And did you notice the number of contributions from guys like Kronwall and Rafalski and Hudler among others? All of the young guys are ready and I still think it's time to let some of the older players go. Chelios was killing me in that 2nd period with the mental mistakes....

Brutal! The Wangs are a FAR superior team to the Preds. If they can't beat these guys, you're right it's probably time to blow this team up. I still say Wangs in 6. Next round v. Dallas though? lolz.

Detroit owns Turco. NEXT.

Except it will likely be Colorado in the 2nd round.

It's over. Preds in 6 or 7.

That's why I don't gamble except with vCash :smash:
