sooooooooooo you can't really disagree with anything I said then? cool.

There was something to disagree with? Yeah especially since you think Detroit is going to win the series, I like that one a lot :wink2:

what's the rule?[/quote]

As I said, the rule is muddled at best.

There can either be a penalty called for goalie interference, or they can just waive off the goal if they think the goalie was interfered with.

are you confused yet?

I'm looking for an online link for you, but it's horribly worded and leaves a ton of room for interpretation.

so whats the rule on interference? can somebody with a full head of steam towards the goalie take a shot, trip (or get tripped), and then collide with the goalie pulling himself, the puck, and the goalie in the net? is that a goal?

It can be, but it's situational. If the net comes off before the puck goes across the line, no - if not, then it's possible. Did the ref blow the whistle? If not, again it's possible. Was the player shooting pushed? Did he dive? Did he try to get out of the goaltender's way? Usually these goals are reviewed by the powers that be, and I've seen some count and others not count when they're virtually the same play.

Help any? I don't know the actual rule, just my two cents.

Detroit vs Pittsburgh in the finals. I saw some empty seats in Detroit, I wonder how hard it is to get tickets for the finals.

In Detroit? Not hard at all. you could probably get them on the day of the game. Hockeytown USA, my ass.

I live in between Pittsburgh and Detroit, I should dish out the cash and go to every game (assuming they both go, which seems likely considering two teams have come back from a 3-0 in NHL history).

Sorry, BUCKYLE, that's what you get for bashing Zanesville.
