Exactly.One will be the no. 1 overall pick whatever year he comes out an one will be playing in a Rec. league.

Luke will have better career stats at ND than Mello had at Syracuse. I imagine however, that every ND fan would have traded that one season that Mello and Syracuse had for the 4 years that LH will have at ND.

Luke is a nice player and having a very good season for a FR, but I wouldn't trade one year with Oden (if thats all he stays) for 4 years with Harongody, and I don't think any other school would have either.

While Oden is a main part of the team, I think that it is the TEAM that gets to the final four, not one player.

He is clearly a much better talent just by looking at where the NBA will draft him next year, End of conversation...Next

The thing is we are all plenty happy with what he is bringing in the one year that he is here...

He is helping put tOSU back on the map...

Hypothetical if you could have Lebron James for a year or JJ Reddick for 4 you are taking Reddick???

Damn. Exactly what I was going to say. And to expound, even if Oden leaves after one season, that scholarship opens back up.

We shouldn't be comparing one year of Oden vs. four years of Harangody.
We should be comparing one year of Oden + two years of Koufos + one year of Lauderdale (or whoever) vs. four years of Harangody.
