Would love to hear his explanation of that bullshit game plan and play calling. Pure, condensed, unfiltered ass.

Did they let him talk to the press? I was skeptical of bringing him in from UCLA, but thought hey they really score a lot so he should really thrive with our talent. Also thought he would be good for Frye.Would love to hear his explanation of that bullshit game plan and play calling. Pure, condensed, unfiltered ass.
I mean it was good for frye and the diversity of the run game. WTF was that keep wasting 2nd down today no ideaDid they let him talk to the press? Gulp
They lit more downs on fire today than i can remember. Horrible, bland, predictable, chicken shit play calling.I mean it was good for frye and the diversity of the run game. WTF was that keep wasting 2nd down today no idea
No they did not today. Day and then 2 or 3 players.Did they let him talk to the press? I was skeptical of bringing him in from UCLA, but thought hey they really score a lot so he should really thrive with our talent. Also thought he would be good for Frye.

They lost the plot. There was clear book how to exploit that flawed tCun defense. They chose to ignore that and instead attack its strength. At the end of the half, he finally started to mix in some tempo, spread the field and scored a TD. More of that the second half, right? Nope. Back to the same bullshit that wasn't working at all. Seriously, fuck these guys.I thought he was better. That was dog shit today. No tempo, no deep shot and continually rammed their head against a brick wall.
Why did this entire program (ok, credit the D staff) go full stupid today? Day’s offense in this game is completely lost. They have Day’s number. He’s not the mastermind of 2018-2019 anymore but I thought Chip would help.
I’m lost on this on. Like Knowles 1-2 years ago, do we just keep firing people every year? Does it get better? I know Chip can be better but he’s starting with a fat F-
I saw it on Twitter- I think it was Andrew Lind?which rumors?
I get the theory, but that's all it is.maybe some of you x's and o's guys can explain this to me...
everybody talks about how "you have to establish the run to open up the pass." and i get the logic of that... the threat of the run forces the secondary to play up tighter on the line of scrimmage for run support, which then gives the offense and the qb the chance to take the top off with their receivers.
what i've wondered the last few years as osu has really struggled with getting any kind of ground game going is this: can't you flip the logic the other way around? can't you open up running lanes by coming out passing?
two halves of the same equation, isn't it? why does th ground game have to come first?
balance is just a notion. it doesn't exist in reality. it's like averages... they only exist as a mathematical construct.I get the theory, but that's all it is.
It's just like listening to the "need to have balance", blah, blah, blah. For me, sometimes chasing the fucking metrics doesn't matter in a game. Sometimes you just need to throw your pre-planned expectations out the window and go for the win in the best way possible. Ohio State threw 33 out of 59 plays yesterday; however, it sure as shit seemed like there were more passes when they were going into the wind (2Q and 4Q). Fucking play with the weather. Air the shit out like crazy when you've got the air at your back.
Hell, even Birm wondered why they didn't choose to go a different direction based on the win in the Horseshoe.
