Notre Dame @ tOSU, Sat Sep 3, 7:30PM (ABC)

1 more day gentlemen. Get your affairs in order for tomorrow night we ride

Already got the fridge stocked with beer, liquor cabinet is full, and 5 large pizzas ready to fire up for tomorrow. Having a big game watch at my new house, I bought it to host and host I shall. Shutting down the office at 130pm today to give everyone some extra time with the holiday weekend, should give plenty of time for last minute prep. Buckeye flag is hanging proudly for all the neighborhood to see. Let's. Do. This.

Also, updating my prediction to 42-31 Buckeyes, I think there will be some hiccups with the new scheme on defense. I could see a much bigger margin of victory though is (a) the defense is what we hope it will be, i.e. good but doesn't need to be elite (though we obviously hope it will be); and (b) no crucial turnovers on offense.

The offense has too much talent to not put up serious points if we take care of the ball, I don't see many 3 and outs or short drives. I would say this game we want to lean heavily on our guys on offense with game experience even if its an obvious cast of Stroud, Henderson, Miyan and JSN...to some degree Fleming, Egbuka and Harrison, we're going to have to target them but we haven't seen quite enough to know what their ball security is after the catch. My only concern is if we try to incorporate greener guys in the offensive attack and they catch fumble-itis under the big lights. I think the coaches would have that as the primary plan, but I just hope we don't get too cute trying to incorporate too many different offensive guys with little-to-no experience unless we are kicking ND's ass. That also goes for punt return, put someone back there that just fair catches the ball safely (unless there is a mile of room to return it) and gets the ball to our offense.

The greener guys will get plenty of experience in future games (especially Games 2 and 3), but our known reliable guys should get 90% of the looks. Anyways, Go Bucks, can't wait for kickoff.

For anyone who needs a refresher before the looming shit storm.

I'm ready to see THE BUCKS. 38-21

Thanks for sharing this, the last two Fiesta Bowls against them were a treat to watch and vivid in my mind. Need to go back on the other ones and watch, those were beyond the recollection of my memory bank.

I can still remember 2005-2006. That's when winning your bowl game mattered.

Everytime we play ND I swear the trolls come out.

We are going to give up 31 points to a team that can't throw the ball?

Gosh I hope not.

Personally I'm thinking 45-20.
