Notre Dame @ tOSU, Sat Sep 3, 7:30PM (ABC)

Hey everyone... new to the forum. Glad to be here before the big game.

Only thing I'm confused about is the hype about their DL? I love their defensive end but they're pretty undersized as a defense if you ask me. 285 and 275 pound DTs? We better lean on them...

Bucks 45 and ND 21.

I am with this prediction. I think their tight end will get loose in the end zone once or twice, maybe another receiver, and maybe a rushing TD. 42-21

To be honest...let their TE do his thing. Ain't no TE beating us.

We just need to adopt the famous line of ...

"I CAN DO THIS ALL DAY"... if we do that? We will wear them out.

Edited... btw that'll be the last time I QUOTE my favorite super hero unless prompted.

Not understanding this sight yet... I liked. Then undid my like... only to relike your post again.

Fuckin A.
Welcome. And to this point, nobody pointed out that you updated your prediction from 45-21 to 45-20 in the same afternoon.

But since you temporarily unliked my post, I thought I’d mention it.

One thing about this site, not much goes unnoticed.

Damn I didn't realize... well let's settle on 45-20.5 then?

Got that right about being unnoticed. Impressive!

Anyone have any takes on their DL vs our OL?

People keep coming back to it and I personally don't get it. They go 265-285-275-290 and to me that's a very light DL

Maybe early they have some wins but as a former college player the weight difference is telling.

Average weight of 320 to 280...they don't have backups capable either. Watch out in the second half boys.

Chasing Eddie George: Notre Dame couldn't catch the Heisman winner in 1995, and hasn't caught OSU since

Eddie George can't control himself.

Every once in a while, the Ohio State legend will send the picture to his friend and Notre Dame alum Jerome Bettis as a not-so-gentle-reminder of the past.

This is one of those weeks. You've seen the picture.

It's George – in a scarlet "27" jersey – angling toward the open field at Ohio Stadium with a white towel flapping to the side – an almost Heisman pose that foreshadowed what was to come later in that 1995 season. The background is every bit as important here. Count the Notre Dame defenders in white jerseys trailing behind George. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven …

Yep, seven Irish defenders made the wide-angle shot Columbus Dispatch photographer Fred Squillante captured on Sept. 30, 1995. George's 61-yard run was the proverbial dagger in the Buckeyes' 45-26 victory against Notre Dame that day. It's just waiting for Bettis' response.

"He sends me an emoji back – with one finger," George told Sporting News.

Since OSU is honoring the 2002 National Championship team during this game, I’d like to commemorate 20 years of Dan Fouts being a colossal fucking dick bag. Fuck you, Dan. I hope your hell has that game on loop.
A buddy of mine drove to C-bus today and has tickets for tomorrow. But his son surprised him with tickets for this evening’s 2002 team reunion event at Land Grant Brewing Company. He said Doss, Clarett, Wilhelm, Peterson, Coach Tress and others talked about the 2002 season game by game.

Question: What the hell is Malik Zaire talking about?

I know that this is the narrative that Zaire and Irish fans want to go with, but there is literally nothing concrete to base it on. Ohio State has more five-star recruits playing defensive end than Notre Dame has on its entire team. And while I am a big supporter of the belief that #StarsMatter, I can recognize that not all highly touted prospects end up being great college players and some under-appreciated high school athletes turn out to be collegiate superstars.
