Now that the Michelon Man is the HC at ND, I doubt that there are any bones to throw.

No.since this thread is devoted to ND discussion, does it involve making fun of the most overated team in CFB? If so I might frequent this page a bit more

You can smell the Domer desperation. Their talking points for excusing CW's blowout losses were "We don't have the talent to compete with the top programs" because "Ty's recruiting left the cupboard bare," so "wait until Weis gets his players in there." "All of a sudden I've come to the University of Illinois, and it's the worst I've ever been around. It's unbelievable."
Zook actually does know where it's coming from this time. Or he thinks he does.
He won't publicly name the school, but it might be located 90 miles east of Chicago. The one where Rockne coached.
it will get ugly. at best, i see an 8-4 season for notre ame, with 7-5 or even 6-6 being more likely.methomps;747008; said:He's going to have to repeat that performance in 2007. If not, things might start to get ugly.
Zook saw where Irish coach Charlie Weis said the word "commitment" needs to be redefined in recruiting.
It is believed Hughes gave Illinois a "silent" commitment before settling on Notre Dame.
Zook wouldn't confirm that but did say of Weis, "One of those kids that committed to him committed to me before he committed to him. Do I cry about that?"

i don't know how vbets are set up, though. also, what would be the terms of wager? my 8-4 or worse to your 9-3 or better?OCBucksFan;747046; said:Sure. (The betting on a team I usually root against is gonna be weird)

oh, of course. looking in the bookie link, there's nothing about setting up a vbet. again, i don't know how to go about setting this up.OCBucksFan;747053; said:Yeah, and no counting the bowl game, we all know that's a guarenteed loss :)
you don't really need a vbet. Agree to a certain amount to bet. Then after the season, find this thread. The loser can make a donation to the winner under the vbplaza menu above.OSU_Buckguy;747056; said:oh, of course. looking in the bookie link, there's nothing about setting up a vbet. again, i don't know how to go about setting this up.
that sounds like a good idea, but it assumes that we'll remember, that either will be around to settle, and that the loser will have the means.jwinslow;747062; said:you don't really need a vbet.
