Notre Dame (football only discussion)

Does Quinn remind anyone other than me of Ken Dorsey? An effective college QB that did not handle pressure well...

I wouldn't say that. Dorsey only lost two games in his whole college career and he started 40 games. I don't care who you play, winning 38 out of 40 games is handling pressure well.

On the other hand... by January 4th Quinn will have lost more bowl games (3) than Dorsey lost total.

If Quinn had been surrounded by the team Dorsey had, I suspect the results might have been similar. He's a damn good QB when not getting punched in the mouth. Unfortunately for ND and Quinn, LSU is goin' to be doin' a lot of punching.

And you would never tell him that face to face.

FWIW I did tell him that two weeks after I met him. It wasn't too hard because 98% of the staff shared the same sentiment.

That being said, can you imagine the fuss it will create if Brady goes first and Troy turns out to be the much better NFL QB? Or should I say when? Regardless, Brady, the leg shaver, eye makeup wearer will get dismantled against a very tough and fast LSU defense. This isn't Army or Navy...no big stats for the bowl game. Unless you call 0-3 in bowls a big stat that is.

You're lucky he is a good kid and didn't beat the crap out of you...

Looks like (not for sure yet) Zibby, John Carlson(TE), Trevor Laws(DL) and John Sullivan(OL) are all planning on coming back next year.
Carlson was the go to guy for most of the year until he got hurt.

I have mixed feelings on Zibby coming back.
