Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

ND not relevant? This thread (and many more on this board) speak otherwise.

I remember seeing Greg Bellisari getting his hair cut at Tech's (or whatever it was called) in 1995 and saying before the game how ND wasn't that great, why does everybody talk about them, etc etc. Of course, the second any team does beat ND, all they do is talk, how they beat the supposed best program in football.

If ND is just as relevant as Michigan State, shouldn't they be treated as such by opposing fans?

can't have it both ways

The only thing that is relevant about ND football, is to remind the arrogant, smug, holier-than-thou Domers that their football program has become irrelevant in the top tier of college football.

If Notre Dame is irrelevant, what fun is bashing them? I for one still enjoy it. Sure they were 3-9. Would you rather open the 2008 season beating 3-9 Notre Dame or 3-9 Baylor?

I, as well as a lot of people I know, made fun of Temple and Duke for their pathetic losing streaks, does that make them relevant in the national title picture of College Football?

Oh, and a lot of the fun of bashing them is because their fans react so well, Notre Dame fans are so funny about their suckass team.

Read my post again. Reminding Domers of their irrelevancy is the implied joy that all who hate ND revel in and should revel in. When it comes to Domerville, the ability to remind them of their irrelevancy is one to be cherished.

1- thread out of how many sites ! LOL!

Once again, I emphasize that it took me three seconds to find that, if I gave a shit I'm sure it would be similarly easy to find many more, but unfortunately for you and this wonderful conversation, I don't give a shit.

Go to irish envy.com (:slappy:) Notre Dame Football Discussion | Fighting Irish Forum, click "rivals" (:slappy:), the drop down menu, lists TSUN, Spartans, Ohio State, Purdue, and USC as "rivals" (:slappy:). Here is one of the non-existent Ohio State threads Ohio State - Notre Dame Football Discussion | Fighting Irish Forum.

At least three pages at domerdomain.com General Discussion

Then, there's also stuff like this around at ndnation.com: OSU isn't exactly a school we should want to model ourselves after.

The program for better vision...it's the right thing to do :slappy:
