Hey, c'mon! It's not like Martin was committed to TSUN or anything and Chuckie is trying to use the coaching change to make up for that stud nose guard who decommitted, is it?

But didn't Charlie himself come out about how wrong it is for coaches to try to recruit students after they commit to Notre Dame?

What? You mean the Catholic priests at Martin's high school are praying for him to go to Notre Dame now?

I tell you, if you have good boobs, you can can get away with murder in this life. We should fire our coach and get a guy with man-boobs too?

Can't say I totally disagree with you, apparently Charlie thinks when a coach quits or gets fired it is open season again.

Of course your right, but the thing is when you actually make a bowl game, it makes it tougher to keep a winning streak going. Oh, that's right I'm preaching to the choir, ND knows all about losing in a bowl game don't they.

Looks like Charlie and the Cheesecake, Chocolate, Hamburger, Omelet, et.al., factory have finally figured out how to end the season on a good note.

Neither ND or OSU can really brag about bowl records.......

ND cannot brag going back going back oh so, so many years - regardless of the bowl or opponent.

OSU cannot brag on two consecutive BCS National Championship Games.

As for bowl games - all the way back to the first BCS National Championship game under Tressel - you know they can claim several scalps, often against BCS level competition.

Numbered amongst which of course is ND.

Sorry, apparently I am not, so in my 6 years of life, I have seen tOSU win, Notre Dame, not so much.

I'll take heat over losing national championship games and going 11-2 over heat for having one of the worst seasons in a program's 100+ year history any day.

There is a slight difference that seems to escape you.

That's because tOSU is relevant in the landscape of college football whereas Notre Dame's relevance is quickly fading. Which, in all honesty, is pretty sad overall. The only people who currently care about Notre Dame is the fans and Lou Holtz.

You have a point and while I would trade records. ND got mentioned caually every week while OSU had to endure 2 weks or so of constant bashing.
