Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

Yeah, my buddy who’s daughter graduated with mine goes to IU, and she hasn’t stayed for an entire football game since she’s gotten there, and she’s going into her junior year. Sorority girl, who likes to dress up for games, take Snaps, and then leave by half time. I’m trying to get him to convince her to give us her OSU-IU tickets

To be fair, you'd have to be a masochist to sit through an entire IU game.

I see the future. The top CFP teams will be Alabama, Georgia, (Oregon or Oklahoma), and Notre Dame. Either Oregon or Oklahoma will lose a game. Even though they are grossly over rated, Notre Dame will get in with a 12-0 record. They have a real soft schedule, the highest ranked team that they play are the Juggalos. They will have 2 things going for them; they're Notre Dame and they are down to their 3rd string QB (i.e. Drew Pyne). Their 3rd string QB can only go so far, they will get blown out in the semi final game by Bama though.

So you're saying go juggalos. Because any loss will knock the juggalos out.

Quite a dilemma, I sure as hell don't want this bowl game matchup:

College football bowl projections updated after Week 4

FIESTA BOWL

Projected matchup: Ohio State vs. Cincinnati

Luke Fickell vs. the Buckeyes? Now this would be an intriguing battle in the Fiesta. The Bearcats travel to Notre Dame next week, a game that potentially eliminates the loser from the final four mix. Ohio State has a long way to go to regain Big Ten frontrunner status, but the Buckeyes certainly have the talent to make it happen. The Big Ten champion goes to the Rose Bowl, so the obvious projection here is the Buckeyes finishing one win shy of getting there. Lot of time left and games on the schedule to determine what should be an exciting Big Ten race in October.

Much rather just win the B1G and go to the Rose Bowl and play UCLA.

Nothing to gain and everything to lose. Like those two basketball games, the juggalos would be bragging about the game fifty years later if they won. Yes, shutting them up by ripping their larynx out a'la Dalton would be exceedingly satisfying, but the alternative is too horrific to contemplate.

Fixed it for you. I think a one-loss OSU gets in the CFP over an undefeated UC, and that Notre Dame will be exposed this Saturday.

If UC wins out, they're going to be the #4 and get in. I dont expect the BigXXII champ being undefeated and the ACC is dog crap so BiG, SEC, PAC (maybe if Oregon) and then up for grabs. Going to be interesting.
