Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

To be fair, most fans including myself felt anything would have better than Willingham and a decade of mediocrity,

Not so fast. I don't have the link. But I remember the content.

CW was going to revolutionize college football. ND would be winning NCs inside of three seasons. The greatest selection ever.

Honestly don't know this...with the emu going pro, Sharpley out of eligibility and Crist injured, who's in line to be their QB next year? Hendrix?
Crist.

If he is not able to go then either Lee or Hendrix.

But, all indications are that the 4-6 month schedule for recovery has not been shifted out to later months.

The primary difficulty for the Irish is that this means Crist may miss Spring Practices to some extent or another.

Urbie is [censored]edReply Probably upset ND did not roll out the red carpet for him and offer 10 billion a year. He tried to get Ianello and Alford to join his staff. Ianello went to Akron and I think Alford wsants to see about staying in South Bend.
Sucks to be Urban. Always getting turned down every time the domers have a coaching opening.:shake:

When Kelly was hired - he contacted the Dawgs and wanted to schedule a game. UGA wanted a 2 for 1 and Kelly refused so both parties walked away.

Now that he's at a bigger program - I wonder if they might reach back out and get some southern schools on the schedule?

Does UGA have other games scheduled out of the SEC region? I know the ASU game was a break from the last handful of decades, is that the direction they're heading now? If so, I applaud it.

Louisville in 2010 and 2011
Return trip to Colorado in 2012 (from 2006 game)
Clemson in 2013 and 14
Oregon in 2015 and 16.

It ain't Southern Cal and Texas - but I think we're moving in the right direction. What say you Jwin?

We kicked around a 2 for 1 with BYU too - but they got home and homes with FSU and neutral sites with Oklahoma, so I don't think they're buying.

there used to be though. there's a reason that France was known as the First Daughter of Rome.the French were instrumental in Rome retaining its power for like a thousand years.

So really they surrendered to the Romans every year for a millennium to help them stay in power, the Romans call them their bitch and the cheese eating surrender monkeys, of course, find a way to try and spin it to "First Daughter of Rome". Got it.

Learn something new every day.
