SEC SEC SEC!Some guy at the bar said that nothing will happen because everyone else does it too.
Ummm, NO. EVERYONE ELSE IS NOT doing it too.
Thanks, we vacation on the NC shore and cuts at the Triangle have been part of the news the last few years. It's been a real boon to the four schools as well as surrounding area.Cinci, I really don't think the effects are that severe. Much of that Research Triangle work began at Bell Labs in the 1990s and was funded by various parties since. If government walks, the Koreans and Chinese can always fill the gap. Much of the funding at UNC in management research is multinational. At the top schools, the game is global.
Well,if you want a proactive athletic/police department like Tallahassee's, you've got to get the word to them first so they can solve the problem and keep from cluttering up the courts with stuff that's not their business. It's a stupid question, but it would appear to be one that has to be asked anyway... =/
At least rhetorically.
Kind of like "Should athletic departments be receiving police reports about their star athlete before the prosecutor's office?"
